we believe that change does not stop at our borders.” Recently I AM C.U.L.T.U.R.E.D. in collaboration with Project Hygiene came together to help address Hurricane Irma disaster relief efforts in the Caribbean. “IAC made a monetary contribution to Puerto Rico and our members traveled to St.Maarten/St.Martin to distribute goods at the Philipsburg Methodist Church,” said Berry. “Our Annual Gala helps IAC to be impactful and we deeply appreciate every individual contribution.” Of the 200+ attendees was Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams who presented Founder and Executive Director Berry with a Proclamation and a commitment of $5,000 in support for FY2019 and FY2020. Also in attendance was New York State Senator Kevin Parker who acknowledged the event and the honorees with a Senate Resolution
