Our Programs

I AM C.U.L.T.U.R.E.D. (IAC) takes a holistic approach to Youth Development, blending traditional + experiential learning environments: classroom-based workshops, mentorship sessions, community service activities, and domestic + global travel opportunities. Our scholars depart from our 10-month program empowered by self-discovery + dynamic personal growth, with a deep understanding of what it means to be C.U.L.T.U.R.E.D.

Program Pillars

  • Know yourself…Through mentorship, our students develop self-awareness, confidence, and a strong sense of pride and guidance as they explore their personal, professional, and cultural identity.

  • Ignite your brilliance…From critical life skills to public speaking, college and career readiness, financial literacy, mental wellness, and creative expression, we aim to shape their intellectual, emotional, and social capacities.

  • Serve with heart…our students are guided to create meaningful change through social action, cultural exchange, and giving back locally and abroad. Growing as peer leaders, they experience what it means to be part of a supportive community that uplifts, collaborates, and rises together.

  • See the world …Through domestic and international travel, students broaden their horizons, experience new cultures, and gain a global perspective. Through cultural exploration, journeys develop empathy, adaptability, and a deeper appreciation of the world and their place in it.

  • Shape the future…Our program exposes students to knowledge and experiences that go beyond the classroom. Through interest and career exploration, our students learn how to take initiative, elevate their voices, and lead with integrity and purpose, shifting the world through their vision and action.

If your school is not currently a partner, click the “Apply” button below to reach our inquiry page, and a team member will follow up with you. Please note that enrollment begins each August.

  • No; however, passports are required for our international travel experiences. I AM C.U.L.T.U.R.E.D. sponsors first-time student passports. Once enrolled, it is important that parents and guardians work with our team quickly to ensure all required paperwork is completed in time for travel bookings and processing.

  • Vaccinations are only required when mandated by the destination country. If a parent or guardian prefers to have their young person vaccinated before travel, that decision is entirely up to the family. I AM C.U.L.T.U.R.E.D. only requires vaccinations where they are necessary for entry into specific destinations.

  • While we would love to have you, our program is designed to foster independence, confidence, and leadership. Our students grow most when navigating new experiences independently, stepping outside of their comfort zones away from home. Our trained travel mentors support students throughout the experience.

  • Yes. Our goal is for students to participate at little to no cost whenever possible. Financial assistance opportunities vary based on school partnerships, sponsorships, and funding. Families are encouraged to inquire directly with our team to learn more about available support.
